Selected work · Design process · Learning evidence
I care about what a learning experience makes possible, and how we know it’s working. This portfolio brings together my curriculum ideas, interactive learning tools, teacher training designs and ways of evaluating learning. For each one, I explain the problem, my choices, what I made and what evidence there is so far. Work in progress is clearly labelled, and nothing here belongs to an employer.
A short curriculum that starts with “how does this thing work?” and ends with students judging their own AI decisions.
A hands-on lab where students work out the difference between a sensor, a rule and a smart decision.
A 60-minute teacher workshop that moves the focus from making content with AI to judging it.
A practical way to tell the difference between a programme that was delivered and one where students actually learned.
Every case study follows the same path: the need, who it’s for, my role, why I designed it that way, what I made, how it’s assessed, testing and feedback, changes, and what I’d look into next. If evidence is missing, I show the gap instead of filling it with made-up results.
Some ideas are much better tried than explained. Here you’ll find browser-based learning tools you can play with, along with what each one is for and how I built it. Every tool page lists the age group, the learning goal and quick instructions.
The work samples here are my own, made separately from any employer projects. My jobs have shaped how I think, but you won’t find confidential content, student information or company materials on this site.
